AlphaRespawn was founded in Sydney in 2021 by a group of passionate Australian gamers who were frustrated with the lack of locally focused, honest game coverage. We set out to create a platform that speaks directly to the Australian gaming community — without the hype, without the fluff.
From our humble beginnings as a small blog, we've grown into one of Australia's most-read gaming publications, covering everything from indie gems discovered at PAX Aus in Melbourne to AAA blockbusters reviewed at launch.
We also run and cover esports tournaments across the country — from casual community brackets to serious competitive leagues — because we believe that playing games is just as important as reading about them.
